The National Port Authority (ENP in its Spanish acronym for Empresa Nacional Portuaria), is an institution decentralized from the Government of the Republic, created by means of Decree No.40 of October 14, 1965 issued by the sovereign National Congress. The National Port Authority has jurisdiction over all maritime ports in the country for its economic development, providing adequate and efficient services and facilities at all seaports. The National Port Authority’s leadership resides in its permanent commitment to improve port service quality by establishing profitable relations with groups of interest (clients, employees, purveyors, government and society). Its philosophy of success consists in balancing the interests of all sectors involved in providing port services, granting them faculties so they can focus their activities on a value added. Our goal is to create market leadership positions with the purpose of establishing and developing investment projects in the short, medium and long term, to provide quality and profitable port services while offering our clients very flexible and competitive tariffs that will allow us to compete in a global economy.
